Disciples
Jesus fully revealed God to us. We want to do nothing less than press in more every day to know Him in all his perfections. Just as Jesus’ first disciples spent time listening to his teaching, watching his actions, and imitating his life, we do the same. We study the story of God in the bible to learn what this new redeemed life ought to look like, and where the power to live this way comes from. It is only by believing Jesus more that we are changed to live like him. Our own stories conflict with the story of redemption, and we need the Spirit of Jesus to make us followers of him.
